We continue our look at Coulee Region alumni with Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa. It is about 173 miles to Iowa State's campus, with an approximate drive time of 3 hours and 44 minutes. The Cyclones are NCAA Division I members of the Big XII Conference, where they have been since 1996. They had been members of the Big Eight Conference, which joined with four schools to form the Big XII.
